Why connect Heureka?
Heureka.cz is one of the most important shopping channels in the Czech and Slovak market. Connecting it to Ranketta lets you:
- Import your catalogue: use your existing Heureka feed as a feed source and let Ranketta score and enrich your products.
- See how products perform in AI: the same data that feeds Heureka is also tracked by Ranketta across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overview.
Prerequisites
- An account in the Heureka Obchody administration
- The URL of your existing XML feed (if you want to use Heureka as a source)
- A Ranketta account with access to Shopping
Using it as a feed source
- In the Heureka Obchody administration, find your XML feed URL (Nastavení obchodu > XML feed section).
- In Ranketta, go to Feed sources and click Add source.
- Choose the Heureka XML format and paste the URL.
- Set a sync interval. Ranketta pulls the feed on that schedule from now on, and products land in My Products.
Publishing back out to Heureka
The Heureka XML channel is still fully supported for accounts that already have one set up, but it isn't currently available to create as a brand new channel from the dashboard, and it doesn't yet support a direct connection the way Google Merchant Center and Amazon do, it's feed URL only. To publish your enriched catalogue to a marketplace today, set up a Google Merchant XML channel instead, or reach out to support if you need a Heureka-specific one.
FAQ
Do I need to use Heureka as both a source and a channel?
No. Heureka works as a feed source independently of where you send the enriched catalogue back out, you can pull your Ranketta Shopping feed from anywhere (Google Merchant Center, Amazon, Heureka, Shoptet or a custom XML/CSV/JSON feed).
How often does Ranketta pull the feed from Heureka?
On the sync interval you set for that feed source (5 minutes minimum, defaults to once an hour).
