Creating Prompts

Creating a prompt manually

1. Go to Prompts in your dashboard
2. Click New Prompt
3. Enter the question or query you want to track
4. Select a country (required for targeting)
5. Click Create

To create multiple prompts at once, separate them with ; in the input field.

Ranketta will start tracking within a few minutes. We'll extract keywords, match to topics if you have them, and begin collecting data.

Generating prompts automatically

You can let Ranketta suggest prompts based on keywords:

1. Click New Prompt and switch to the Automatically tab
2. Enter a keyword or topic
3. Choose how many prompts to generate (default: 3)
4. Select a country (required)
5. Click Generate Prompts

Ranketta uses AI to create relevant prompts based on your keyword.

Using Google Search Console keywords

If you've connected Google Search Console, you can use your existing keywords:

1. In the automatic generation form, start typing a keyword
2. Select from the suggestions (which show impression data)
3. Generate prompts from that keyword

Prompt settings

Country targeting: Required. Select the market you want to track.

Topics: Organize prompts into topics to analyze related queries together.

Best practices

• Create as many prompts as you can. The more prompts you track, the more data you collect and the greater your accuracy and overview of your AI visibility.
• Focus on questions your customers actually ask
• Include variations of your main keywords
• Use topics to group and analyze similar prompts
• Let Ranketta suggest prompts from your keywords
