Installing the app

1. Open the Shopify App Store and find the Ranketta app, or install it directly through the link we send you.
2. Click Install app and review the requested permissions.
3. Once installed, the app redirects you to Ranketta.
4. Create your Ranketta account and complete the onboarding. Ranketta will automatically connect to your Shopify e-shop and begin analyzing your products.

No code changes, no template modifications, no impact on your e-shop performance. The app runs entirely on Ranketta's side.

What happens after installation

Once connected, Ranketta starts analyzing your product catalog and their AI visibility. In your dashboard, you will see:

• Where and how often AI recommends your products. Broken down by AI platform and by individual product or SKU.
• Which products have growth potential. Products that appear in related queries but are not yet recommended directly.
• What is blocking better visibility. Specific issues like missing product attributes, thin descriptions, or incomplete structured data.
• Brand sentiment vs. competitors. How AI talks about your brand compared to others in your category.

Use the Opportunities feature to get specific, per-product recommendations on what to improve.

Shopping feed

You can also add your Shopify catalogue as a feed source: Shopify already generates a Google Merchant XML feed for you by default, so you just paste in the URL. That puts your Shopify products through scoring, enrichment, and channel publishing in Shopping as well, including a direct connection to Google Merchant Center, the feed most AI shopping assistants read from.

Do I need to configure anything after installation?
No. Ranketta automatically analyzes your e-shop once the app is installed.

Does it affect my e-shop speed?
No. The app runs externally on Ranketta's infrastructure. It has no impact on your Shopify performance.

Is it suitable for small e-shops?
Yes. Smaller e-shops often benefit the most. AI visibility is a channel where you can gain an edge before larger competitors catch up.

Does Ranketta replace SEO?
No. Ranketta complements your SEO. It focuses specifically on AI search and recommendations, which traditional SEO tools do not cover.

Can I uninstall the app at any time?
Yes. Uninstalling it from your Shopify admin ends the connection. Data Ranketta already collected stays available in your dashboard.
